The STEM initiative

With the upcoming presidential election, the STEM initiative will be impacted. There will be fewer advancements because a lot of political interest will be placed on the election and not other issues. Also a thing to keep in mind is that the democratic party is more likely to embrace change in the teaching system than the republican party and especially more so like the GOP.
