This photo was partially posed because they were having "unicorn wars" with their plumes and I just told them to look this way. I havent edited this yet but when I do I want to get rid of that bright spot on her face. I also want to get rid of the stange lighting blips because of being under a tree. But overall I like this photo.

In DPI 1 there is never a steady work flow. One day we only have to do one thing, and the next we have like 5 things to do. Also due dates need to be communicated more clearly.

Wednesday: Critque me

I took this pictuure at band rehearsals because I'm a cripple who can't march. I like the angle in this photo. I would like to edit this a little to make it better. Also, the people in the background have some motion blur and I would change that.

Monday: The best aspect of your instructor

Lawler is laid back and lets us work at a good pace. He also pushes us to have everything ready and done. So he is overall a good teacher. Oh, and he's funny.

This picture is just gorgeous. Hummingbirds are very difficult to capture so I have respect for this photographer. THe flowers in this are lavender and thats gorgeous as well.

I like the lighting in this photo I also like the contrast of all the different colors. Lastly, I like the way the glasses stand ot. If I could take this again I would use a  different model. JUST KIDDING! I would actually 1. Have her brush her hair 2. Zoom out a little because it seems somewhat cramped.

My favorite type of art is definitely photography. I absolutely love taking cool pictures and telling stories through them. I bring my camera bascically everywhere and love editing them as well. Photography can do so much. It can inform and entertain. It is an awesome art form.

I mainly like the lighting in this photo. This was taken at the top of a mountian in Colorado. There were all these goats and sheep, and they were EVERYWHERE. I have like 40 pictures of goats... that might be a bad thing... oh well! If I could take this again I would try to get closer to the goats.

I chose this picture because I like astronomy. It is a blue moon and that is really rare. I also like that the photographer only got the moon and not the rest of the stars.

I took this picture at the Brookfield Zoo, the lighting was really nice so i just had Claire pose. Afterwards in photoshop i removed the acne from her forehead. I really like the reflection in her glasses because everything is distorted. If I could take this again I don't think I would change anything because I really like it.

I love this photo because my brother's smile isn't cheesy in it. Also I love the background. We were on a mountain and he was just sitting there so I told him to pose. If I could take this again I would have lowered the exposure so I wouldn't have to do so much in photoshop.

I like that we're able to work at our own pace. I also like that its simple and easy to do but it can make the photo look really good. I like that it teaches me things at the same time as well.

I love how the background is completely blurred and the flower is the only thing in focus, I think it makes it really interesting to look at. The plae yellow flower really goes well with the turquoise background and I just like the flower. For lack of a better word, the flower is cute.

This is really cool, I love converse and this picture also combines my love of art. The converse are also worn out so they have been worn so it adds some nostalgia because I have worn out a couple pairs. I like the bright red aswell and the way it pops from the background.

Monday: Things I do not like about this class

I don't like how slowly we learn things, I am a fast learner and gbet bored easily. Other than that, I can't really think of anything else that is bad about this class. Good job Lawler!

I chose this photo because it is just plain awesome. It also shows the band name so it gives a little more information. The lighting was all from the stage so it was actually pretty good.  I like the shadows and the highlights as well. If I could take this photo again I would try to make the background blurrier so that he is more the main focus and the background is almost undistinguishable.

I think the lighting in this photo is really cool. The way it shines through the dice is really interesting to me. I also like how it is not a brand new die. It has a used feel to it and you can almost see the group of people playing a game with it.

Wednesday: Critque Me

I chose this photo because I just thought that it was cool. My best friend's younger sister is a dancer and we were in Chicago, I thought that the street looked cool and there were some awesome shadows so I just told her to do something from dance and then i snapped the picture. I had to crop it because the zoom on my lens wasn't enough. I like the way the shadow is and the road adds something to it. If I had the chance to take this photo again I would use a better zoom lens, and when I learn to use photoshop I might increase the contrast to make the shadow a lot darker than it is now.

This photo is just awesome, I wish that I could go somewhere like this just to take these amazing photos. It just shows how cool the ocean can be. Everything is so amazing and full of life and color. I really hope to go scuba diving some day to take photos like this.
